are we required to write definitions of ethics in p7 e.g definition of intimidation threat in exam questions or we just need to mention the threat and relate to the scenario and write the safeguards ?
And i want to ask how to memorise ethics safeguards . Kindly please guide me how to prepare ethics question for p7. I found ethics question in p7 difficult.

This exam / these P level exams are surely moving away from the learn and churn approach where a student with no imagination but with a good memory can reproduce script whenever asked to do so

These are ‘thinking’ exams where you are asked to apply common sense to practical issues

I’m going to ask you to look separately at the various threats and to apply your mind to what practically can be done to minimise those individual threats

    for example … intimidation.

Develop strict criteria to be satisfied before taking on new clients
Obtain references from the proposed new client’s bank
Consult with the previous auditor particularly enquiring about the characteristics of the management team at the proposed new client
Conduct an internet search into the history of the client and of its management team

Basically, take steps to ensure as far as possible that the threat of intimidation is addressed at source and avoided whenever satisfactory answers are not forthcoming

Try the other threats for yourself
