Dear tutor,
does acceptance of expensive gifts or hospitality constitute a self interest or a familiarity threat because in few questions in past papers..sometimes one is used sometimes the other,
please advise

I would tend to put it down as self-interest. If it’s expensive entertainment it can lead to familiarity. I don’t think the classification matters so much as understanding that one way or another it’s a threat to independence.
