Dear Sir,
When required to discuss about the ethical and PROFESSIONAL issues in a question, what are the professional issues that should be included?
IMO – professional issues relate to consideration of auditor liability and practice mgt issues like tendering, fees, advertising, accepting a new appointment.
Does Money laundering, consideration of fraud and error and NOCLAR forms part of prof issues?
I’m a bit confused with so much of theory and not being able to summarise/categorise them.
What should exactly be included in professional issues?
thanks
Professional issues are matters such as competence, confidentiality, independence, objectivity and all the satellite matters that fly off those fundamental issues
Any or all of fees, planning, staff allocation, training, internal standard setting and adherence, clear and regulated organisation and reporting structure – all matters involved in the running of a professional firm in a professional manner
Does that answer it?
