I just want to check the equations given in the exam are fairly minimal and don’t include, for example, inventory level sums – just EOQ. As shown on the notes here.

Instead there are many to memorise as well as understand and apply?

I’ve been surprised at how wordy this exam has been compared to AAT so a lot more to memorise than expected on top of mastering processes. A lot of filler perhaps, luckily I’m not new to the world of work so could skim a few chapters. I was just hoping to give my memory a break after F1 and enjoy the numbers and processes.

Yes – all you get in the exam are the formula sheet and the discount tables as are printed in our free lecture notes.

There aren’t actually so many other formulae that need learning. OK, many people learn variances just as formula, but as I explain in my free lectures it is better to make sure that you understand the logic – then there is less to actually learn (and the exam deliberately tests your understanding as well as testing that you can do the calculations correctly).
