In the elarning curve equation why is b= log r/log 2 ?
I know b represent slope.of the curve.
Why log ?
Why log 2?
It is because the shape of the curve is parabolic, but that is irrelevant for the exam.
You are given the formula on the formula sheet, and although b is usually given in the exam (which makes the formula for b irrelevant) the examiner is entitled to ask you to calculate b on your calculator.
