Hello,
Does anyone knows any websites or how to get the historical EPS data for a company?
Or can I actually calculate the EPS out by myself? If yes, whats the formula? Also im confused about the year given. The financial statement state FY2017, (1 april 2016 to 31 march 2017). So does this mean im actually looking at the value of 2016?
So if I require some data (eg.dividend, DBS, income) from the end year financial statement, do I take the value from the report release in the next year?
Example: require 2017 year end report, I look for FY2018 (1 april 2017 through 31 march 2018) or FY2018 Q3 (1 april 2017 through 31 December 2017)?
June 21, 2018 at 7:35 am #459554Basic EPS is calculated as:
Profit (or loss) attributable to the ordinary shareholders
divided by
the weighted average number of ordinary shares outstanding in the periodIt is a performance measure for a period of time. For the calendar year 2017, annual EPS can be calculated as the sum of EPS for FY16 Q4 and FY17 Q1, Q2 and Q3.
This is not something that would be encountered in F7
