    Hello,
I plan to do the f4 English variant in dec – i have a Kaplan study text and exam kit valid until the June 2016 exams – can i still use this material or do I have to upgrade to a newer version ? Are there any significant changes ?

You should be fine with 2016 material … but I would suggest that that study text is opened on only very few occasions!

By a long way, of greater importance is the need for an up-to-date revision kit from a recognised publisher

Extensive hours going through hundreds and hundreds of questions, over and over and over again and again and again

And when to get to a question that you get wrong and you don’t understand why the suggested answer is one that you don’t understand, then you have two choices

    1) look it up in your out-of-date study text (it should still be fine even though it is 2 years old), or

    2) post the question on this forum page with the options available and ask me why your chosen option is incorrect (or even why the suggested solution is correct)

I check these forums every day so I don’t understand how / why this question of yours has only this morning appeared on my pc so I’m sorry that my response is so long in coming

    OK?

Thanks I appreciate it. So I should get the latest revision kit only?

Correct – that and the course notes and the lectures

Then it’s 2 hours to read the notes once each week (just reading them, not trying to learn them) and watch the videos (maybe twice if you can stand it) and then hour after hour in the revision kit

And then post on here whenever you hit a brick wall

    OK?
