Is contract law, law of tort etc part of civil law or common law or is it part of case law.
Case law is established when cases are brought to Court … and may be civil or criminal
Case law is illustrative of judges applying common law or statute
OK?
So, for instance, contract law could be a mixture of case laws, common law and statute
