Hi,
what is the difference between the two? I am just considering to write this paper in June but a bit confuse about the variant. I understand that time is creeping up but I believe with the lecture notes and my revision kit I will be able to pull it through. Please advise
April 10, 2017 at 10:45 am #380773If you have plans in the future to hold a practising certificate as a registered auditor in the UK, you need to select the English variant for F4
If you have no such ambition, then it’s immaterial which option to select
English law has many more cases illustrating points of law from history that are an integral part of the development of the English law as it applies in the 21st century
So there’s a lot more emphasis on contract law than you will find in the Global syllabus
Global law has a lot in the syllabus dealing with the topics of arbitration (alternative dispute resolution procedures) but also about international commerce, contracts and sale of goods
At the moment there is a full (95%) suite of videos for the English variant bit only 50% – 60% coverage of the global variant
Personally I find the English law to be much more fun than the drier global version but that’s my personal preference
Whichever you choose, when you come across an issue that you don’t understand, post again on this forum and I shall get back to you
OK?
