Well, you have to be able to understand the question and write an answer that can be understood by the marker. However, they do no deduct marks for small grammatical errors: this is an auditing exam, not an English exam.
So if you were to write:
“Auditors should pick random sample so he can test controls”
instead of:
“Auditors should pick a random sample so that they can test controls”
you would get full marks.
