what are the main difference between engagement and audit partner?And what are their responsibilites?
Engagement partner is the partner in charge of the audit and the person who ultimately decides what type of audit report is appropriate and who will sign the audit report.
Other partners associated with an audit (really only used in very large audits) assist the engagement partner eg by reviewing some subsidiaries of divisions.
