Dear Professor,
My kit states that Engagement letter needs to be reissued if there is a change in the “Legal or Regulatory” Framework.
I wanted to understand from you if there is any difference between the two?
And if so can you explain with examples?
Thanks much for your responses!
This is assumed knowledge of LW – the distinction is not important in AA. “Law” refers to statute that has been enacted – which in the UK means that a bill has been passed by the government. Regulations are the means by which law is enacted.
