I understand this is like a contract of employment between the auditor and the client but my question is….
The letter specifies planning issues, but what are some of the examples of the issues?
For example,
When will the audit work be done?
When is the reporting deadline?
What work will be done by internal audit?Is it mandatory to update or revise the previous year’s engagement letter before the commencement of an audit for the current year?
