Why the change in int cost and current service cost will affect the remeasurement component?

Examiner answer:”The net effect will be to change the re-measurement component by $11,880,000.”

If the service cost / net interest cost change – then the remeasurement component will change – because it is a balancing figure in reconciling opening and closing assets and liabilities.
