I wanted you to give me the actual e-mail address from which it was sent to see if I can shed any light on the matter. I very much doubt that ACCA would “advertise” students’ results in this way and suspect that it has simply gone from a database/department which does not yet take account of students’ results since they cannot be known at this stage.

Yes. I’m also a finalist and also received the email. I think there is nothing to worry about it. I don’t think the database has been updated yet with the exam results. It’s still two weeks to go!

    Hello Kim

it was from ACCA do not reply address. Email as below

Are you planning to sit exams in March 2020? Join our free webinars and get ahead with organising your studies and preparing for exams! We have teamed up with a number of our Platinum Approved Learning Partners (ALPs) to deliver a webinar series covering study and exam preparation topics to give you the best chance of success in your March exams.

There are two webinars taking place in January. The first will focus on how to make the big step up from Applied Skills to Strategic Professional exams and the second provides guidance on some of the key information ACCA students need to know about the ACCA Qualification. The webinar presenters include tutors from our ALPs, ACCA members and representatives from student focused teams within ACCA – so lots of expert advice will be on hand.

You can find further information on these webinars along with registration links in the mail below.

I sat two exams in Dec19 so i am very worried now

    thanks

I have called ACCA and confirmed that this is just an automated e-mail which has gone out to promote and give notification of webinars in January. The “marketing” database will only be updated for results when results are released. No one knows your result – or even if you sat the exams in December (e.g. you could have registered but been absent). I have been told to assure you and any other students who receive similar not to read anything into it!

So I do hope you can stop worrying and enjoy your New Year!

I was a finalist in June 2019 and received the email to register for September exams while I was awaiting results. I passed my June exam so please do not worry. This doesn’t mean anything.
