sir i do not understand the following statement:
“Under environmental accounting context, ABC distinguishes between environment – related costs, which can be attributed to joint cost centres and environment-driven costs which tend to be hidden on general overheads.”
can you elaborate this statement?
It is normally possible to determine a cost driver for environment related costs and so we can use ABC.
It is not normally possible to determine a cost rived for environment driven costs.
