The notes are indeed designed to help pass, however, the notes alone without question practice of course is NOT enough for you to pass and the problem here is not with the notes, even if you go and study Kaplan text book you will still don’t pass if you do not practice questions. Just study the notes and practice LOTS of questions and you should be fine.

There is enough in the OpenTuition notes and the lectures to be able to pass the exams well (and many people have already done so). You do not really need to use a Study Text as well – best is to use a Study Text more as a reference book for any topics that you are still unsure about.

The notes and lectures are not simply useful for revision purposes only (unless of course you mean the revision notes/lectures that are also here 🙂 )

However,as Mahoysam says the one thing you do need is lots of question practice (and under time pressure). When you feel that you understand the topic and have learned the ‘rules’ then you need to practice questions to get used to the way the examiner presents the information and to get used to the time pressure. For this you really need to get hold of one of the exam/revision kits from one of the approved publishers.

I would not just rely on the notes, at least listen to the lectures and the notes and combine the two at the very least i would suggest purchasing the bpp or kaplan training CBE discs as these are a great way to help you with exam technique.

This site though is a fantastic way to revise and pass the exams and is highly
