Hello, I am currently using the open tuition for my study and just bought Kaplan exams kit, so I am wondering if I still need to buy the text book from Kaplan.

We would expect that our notes, lectures and the Kaplan kit should be enough. Obviously a Kaplan text will contain more detail than our notes, but it has to be read and remembered if it is going to be useful. See how you get on answering the kit questions before buying a text.

Thanks for your quick response. However, I can see some little gap between your notes and Kaplan exams kit but in my first attempt in section one: introduction to organisation, out of 60 questions I scored 42 while in the section two: managing the finance function, I scored 19 out of 30 questions. Please advise if there are good rate. Also what is the pass mark for the E1 and what is the total number of questions in the exams. Thanks.

You need to aim for 70%, so you are nearly there.
