hello professor john moflat
sir i was sitting for june 2015 exams in my wacc computation i forgot to deduct tax from interest payments for redemmable loan notes will i lose a lot of marks for my wacc calculations
in my calculation of foreign exchange risk i forgot to to adjust the interest to six months for money market hedge will i lose a whole marks for my computation
please guide me for my depression sir
Don’t worry – you will lose some marks, but you will not lose all of them.
I forgot to use the IRR to calculate the redeemable loan note, and also on the question regarding offering customers a discount, I multiplied the whole answer by the short term cost of capital figure. I am pretty sure it should have just been the AR movement that was hit with the cost of capital.
Marks lost, but I think on balance there will have been enough positive marks to pull through.
thank u gonko and professor john
You are welcome 🙂
