Could you please show in the MCQ of specimen q no.2 In 20*1.07/1.03^5
How do we get ^5???
It is not to the power 5 – it is to the power 0.5 which is the same as taking the square root.
So it is actually 20 x sq root of (1.07/1.03)
It is the square root because you are looking at 6 months when the interest rates are annual rates.
