Sir,I didn’t understand the fundamental difference between Stratified and Quota Sampling.?
In both cases you split the number to be sampled in the proportion of the population.
In the case of stratified sampling you then select at random within each group. With quota sampling you do not select at random – you just examine each item until you have the number required from each group.
