Hello, I am a new mother with no job. I have an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English and philosophy and I want to study for the accountancy exams. I cannot afford to buy expensive courses or materials and I am desperate to figure out where I can get started with the free material to become qualified with the ACCA in the UK. Please I would sincerely appreciate any help.

Here’s an article to help you plan your journey
https://opentuition.com/acca/plan-your-acca-exam-journeyBelow is what I wrote for another student, ignore specific reference to PM as you will presumably start with BT. Below tells you that you don’t need to spend any money on courses/materials. Everything you need is now available for free.
“When a student goes to access our materials for a specific exam, e.g. here for PM https://opentuition.com/acca/pm, the first thing they will see is “How to pass …”
Our lecture notes and lectures are kept up-to-date with each year’s change of syllabus and provide a foundation on which to build question practice. Although we have some revision lectures, we do not provide comprehensive revision question banks/kits; these are available, for free, elsewhere.
Since exams moved from paper to computer-based, the most important source of question practice is ACCA’s practice platform – e.g. see information here for PM https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f5/cbe-question-practice.html
For additional question practice there is ACCA’s Study Hub https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/your-study-options/studyhub.html – although not apparent from the word “study”, this actually includes more question practice than any student would get through on top of the the CBE practice.”
