Just starterd doing past papers. This is my first paper based exam. I came across 10 papers from 2010 onwards. I was wondering whether i should do 2010-2012 as revision. Breaking the paper into sub sections and do them separately. And do 2013-2015 timed , like doing a exam. Is that a good idea?

Yes, it is a good idea. Except that starting from last December the format of the papers has changed – Section A is all multiple choice questions and Section B is full questions (but only 10 or 15 marks each).

You would be much better using a Revision Kit from one of the approved publishers because they have lots of both types of questions.

Right thanks I didn’t know that. Been doing ACCA by self studying. Been able to finish from f2-f4 within one month using your resources. So thanks. Hopefully I can add f5 to the list as well.

The past questions are still worth doing – the syllabus has not changed).

Make sure at the very least that you also try our MCQ test – they are examples of the sort of multiple choice questions in Section A.
