This says that parliament has right to make any law. No other.
I am not sure that is crown monarch or royal family part of parliament or not?
Thank you.
The UK parliament is known as the Queen’s Parliament (until a month ago) and is now known as the King’s Parliament
In theory, the monarch has the absolute power to pass law, but that would likely cause revolution and revolt in the UK if the monarch were ever to try to exercise that right
Technically, for the final stage of passing law, the last step is the requirement for royal assent. Again, in theory at least, you should then realise that the monarch can PREVENT any proposed law simply by refusing to give it royal assent
Is that ever going to happen? Not in my life!
OK?
Right tutor. Thanks!
You’re welcome
