I would like to be able to filter out the subject that I’m curious to find out before asking away, in case other people has already asked a similar questions. For example, I’d like to know the definition and differences between ‘payable/purchases’ and ‘receivables/sales’ by searching such terms however I don’t seem to find the search bar. Is the function not available?

Not specifically for Ask the Tutor. However, the general search function at the top of the screen, next to Account, will report Ask the Tutor topics if the search term matches a topic.
