I did F6 and F7 together in Dec 2014 and regretfully was marginally off a pass for both. The F6 book is just under 1,000 pages and F7 is 700. It is mostly computational though, so at least you can easily assess how good you are.
If you are going to start F6 I suggest that you start NOW! If you are only taking one exam that sitting you have 12 weeks until that exam. IMO, that means that you need to cover 125 pages a week for 8 weeks starting Monday to finish the book, followed by a month of exam based question.
There are plent of self study courses, plus the infamous Open Tuition ofcourse!

Would you advise sitting f6 and f7 together?
I’ve been studying for f6 and was hoping to do it in March but I’m a bit worried now. I don’t want to miss a exam session so I was thinking of doing f6 and f7 together in June, would you advise this?Thank you
