Sir, declared dividend is a current liability in SOFP and it is deducted from retained earnings i SOCIE..Am i right? One more question If it is declared after reporting date do we need any adjustment?

Yes – you are right.
If it is declared after the reporting date then it only appears in the statements for the year in which it is declared (not the year to which it relates).
