June 2008 ACCA exam Q.6
In relation to company law distinguish between:
(a) executive directors; 4marks
(b) non-executive directors; 3marks
(c) shadow directors. 3marksI had a good look in my Kaplan text book and ACCA model answers, but still not clear. Can anyone pls explain worth 10 marks.

Rach.Check the opntuition notes and see if you can’t find 4 points about exec directors, 3 about non-execs and 3 more about shadows.
We looked at that particular question on our course today and eventually stopped after we had planned around 30 points in aggregate spread over the 3 areas.
Our shortest answer section was about the shadow directors and even then we were up around 6 separate points which could be made.
