Hi all,
I am after some guidance.
I have just passed my final foundation paper and moving on to professional papers.
Previously I have gone to college but they have now stopped on college course in Cornwall therefore I have to look at other forms of study to finish my ACCA.
I have only just come across this site and from what I’ve seen and read, there’s a lot of good stuff here that’s would seem that if I wanted to I don’t need to buy any distant learning courses at all?
How does OT compared to distance learning course from BPP or Kaplan?
Or OT along with other distance learning packages?
Or maybe OT then one of those weekend revision courses maybe?
I used Kaplan throughout AAT and BPP with ACCA foundations papers.
Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Jo
April 19, 2017 at 11:12 pm #382753Welcome to OT, Jo
I used both BPP and Kaplan tuition / revision before and I ended up using Open Tuition after a few years. I think it depends on what works for you here, each of them offers great resources for learning.
I use BPP and Kaplan materials and use this site for the tuition, which is free of charge and in my opinion, the tutors are extremely experienced and knowledgeable.
If you like the interactive online or face to face approach and you have a budget, then maybe think about BPP or Kaplan.. although really, the lecture videos here are just as good.
I would suggest you go through the site and forum relevant to your course for some useful information.
Best of luck.
April 24, 2017 at 8:35 pm #383534I have used opentuition for F6-F9, P1&P3. I have found the lectures and notes, together with a BPP practice kit enough to pass all those exams 1st time.
I couldn’t recommend OT any higher.
However,I am currently studying towards P2 and for the first time I feel that opentuition is not enough. There seems to be a lot in past exam questions that there is no mention of in the OT notes. - AuthorPosts
