Hi Mike,
Without resorting to the discount table, how do you calculate the discount factor when interest is being paid 5 years in arrears ( 5%).

When INTEREST is being paid 5 years in arrears? Not INSTALMENTS?

This sounds like a question for our mathematics expert - John Moffat.

Can you post this again on, say, P5 "Ask the tutor" and explain that Mike is not able to answer it ( I probably can, but I wouldn't be 100% certain that I would be correct )
