Today I tried Specimen 2 exam in real 4 hours exam conditions. Did not manage to reach half of the questions till time elapsed.
I spend lots of time in reading and practicing.
Any advice for the last day.

Set a time budget based on marks and stick to it.

1 Read the whole question and specimens. Often requirements are linked to specific specimens so try to link as you go. You should be able to get through this stage in about 20 – 30 minutes. If you are doing the CBE version, make use of the highlighter and scratch pad options to help planning.

2 This leaves you with 210 minutes, so about 2 minutes per mark. Therefore a thirty mark requirement should be answered in about 1 hour. I suggest giving 10 minutes to planning a 30 mark answer then 50 for writing.

3 When time is up for that question, leave it and move onto the next. Be strict about that.

    Thanks, Sir.

Today i attempted sbl-dec-2018 available as a Practice exam 2. I strictly follow the above rule 3. Slightly different reading approach. I prefer 60 min. reading, planning and highlighting, and 180 min. answering.
Now the things look like much better. The 4th hour find me on the last 3b question 🙂

    4 hour exam is unhuman.

Also, this sbl-dec-2018, looks like much easier than Specimen 2, probably because there aren’t any xls computations, which is too unlikely to happen on the real exam.

I’m glad things went better. I think 1 hr is the maximum to spend on reading and planning. If a lot of planning is done initially, then writing answers will be quicker, though you will almost certainly have to re-acquaint yourself with some of the details.
