Hi sir, in my textbook, regarding the disadvantages of outsourcing the internal audit function, they stated the following:
Pressure on the independence of the outsourced function due to eg: threat by management not to renew contract.
I dont quite understand this point. Could you explain to me sir?
It is like the potential conflict that external auditors have: “If you criticise you won’t get the work next year”.
