Good day everyone.
I know that this question has been asked before, but Im not clear with it,so im gonna ask your advice.
Im an ACCA student and now thinking of getting Diploma in IFRS for December 2017 sitting. As for before, I always use Opentuition.com materials for preparation since it proves the best results. There are no lectures or notes available for this exam in OT,so is it possible to use F7.Financial Reporting materials as a basis for preparation? It seems to me that the rationale behind these exams are very close.
Looking forward your answer.September 29, 2017 at 10:42 am #408971This is what I replied 10 hours ago to a similar question from Devaoff from India.
“The two syllabi (F7 and DipIFRS) are very, very closely aligned to the extent that, some years ago having just finished teaching a week’s course for DipIFRS, I was recommending that any student that was a strong candidate for F7 should seriously consider taking the exam for the diploma
Why not download a couple of past exams from the Diploma qualification and see how close they are to a typical (pre-mcq) F7 exam
It would only be a two minute exercise for you to determine how appropriate F7 was to the Diploma requirements”
I’ve adapted the Devaoff response slightly
OK?
