    Dear Friends,

    I want to appear in DEC 11 for F6 (UK). I came to know that F6 is linked with Finance Act (UK). I need to know what is the last changed finance act. Generally i am used to self study. I read KAPLAN. So, what version of KAPLAN should i brought for DEC 2011.

    Please help me in this regard.

    Thanks
    Selim

    @selimdu,

    That’s right, F6 uk paper is based on Financial act or FA. The latest Financial act is dated 2010. So F6 exam in 2011 is based on FA10, it is mentioned on the cover of Kaplan books.

    This article will be highly relevant for your exam. Work it out and revise regularly.

    Oh Good,
    so we don’t have to worry about the rate changes as of April 2011?!
    I was getting a bit distressed when I looked up how many changes have actually taken place 🙂
    Thanks, Ansi

    @kristyna,

    for all ACCA exams u have to worry only about the changes in legislation / taxation / or any legal rules that took place before 30th september of previous year. For 2011i it’s 30th september 2010.
    Otherwise with daily changes that sometimes come so suddenly , it would be too unfair to expect everyone to control those changes every day.

    So download “examinable documents” for F6 , which is available at accaglobal in F6 section of ACCA exams.
    On second page it contains rates and allowances that are applicable for your year of sitting. Print them out and use while preparing for exam.

    good luck!
