As the title says, what is the difference between the two.
Yeah, I know they are very different from each other but I just know a definition from you as your words are very very easy to grasp.
The business case is primarily an economic justification for the project to show that costs<benefits.
The PID will usually contain the business case but will also have lots more infor like who will manage and pay for the project, deadlines, scope, who will execute the project etc. Think of it as a handbook for the project.
Both are covered in the P3 notes and lectures.
