Diff Between F1 and FA1?

Im trying to book an exam and there seems to be no FA1 exams available at all where i live even though there are F1 exams available. Can i take an F! instead and then transfer it?

They are completely different.
FA1 exams can be sat on-line and from Sept 2018 F1 exams are exclusively on-line, so if F1 are available I don’t see why FA1 aren’t.
