what is the difference between departmentation and divisionalisation
Think of departments as being relatively small: accounts, sales, production, human resources.
Divisions are large – sometimes like whole companies within a large company. So, for example, a vehicle manufacturing company might have a car division and a commercial vehicle (vans and lorries) division. Each division is likely to have the departments listed above.
