Hi,
Please what is the meaning of the term DEFINITION as used in ACCA Q1 (one of the requirements) in March 2017 exam? I think its in the March/June Paper.Thanks
For example, Note 3 Appendix 1:
Secured revenue is long-term recurring revenue.
That is the definition of how they measure revenue and you have to assess if that is OK.
Or note 4
Organic revenue growth is calculated by using the total revenue figure as reported in the accounts. It includes net acquisitions which brought in revenue of $48m in 2016.
Seems an odd way to define organic revenue, which is usually taken to mean growth of existing businesses.
