Dear sir,
as per the TX rules for FA19, i understand that if a new car is being bought for an employee then any contribution paid by the employee towards covering the list price is deducted from the list price. I just wanted you to confirm one thing, the cap ex. contrn made by employee towards the list price of a second hand car will also be treated in a similar manner, right?
Whether a car is bought new or 2nd hand we use the same method of computing the assessable benefit
