Hello good people! Good morning! I am writing my OBU project report. I have little confusion regarding the Declaration of Authenticity. Please suggest how should I write this. Thank you!

Quite simply p.24 of the Info Pack requires you to confirm in essence that you have done the work yourself and asks you to include a statement to this effect – and actually supplies the wording. You could include this at the bottom of the cover sheet, upload it as a separate document or as your first page of the report.
By issuing this declaration, if subsequently found guilty of infringing the University rules by using a so called mentor* who writes students’ reports for them [there are some unscrupulous ones out there!], rewording another student’s report/SLS or engaging the services of someone who has then written the report on their behalf, you can be expelled from the programme and the details of the incident reported to ACCA – since it would contravene and breach professional ethics and constitutes making a fraudulent and false declaration.
Incidentally even past students who may not have produced this statement but their work turns out subsequently not to have been theirs, can have their degree rescinded. As a former Academic Conduct Officer I have personally presided at disciplinary hearings and taken this step in several cases.
*Unethical mentors though will tell you that you have really gained the degree through the exam results and that the report is just a formality and that they can write it for you. Do not be tempted – this is not true – the report MUST be your own work.
An honest student therefore should not have any problems with certifying that the RAP is all their own work by issuing a declaration of authenticity and gaining the degree from their own efforts.
