the growth i used is 7.72% but answer used was 7.7% because of this 0.02% my answer was $23.62 instead of $23.41 in exam how many decimal i am actual can use in percentages because i encounter some use 2 decimal places in percentages. so do my answer consider correct?
So it is common practice to round percentages to two decimal places. Therefore, if you used a growth rate of 7.72% and obtained an answer of $23.62, it would be considered correct if the expected answer is $23.41. The slight difference of 0.02% in the growth rate should not significantly affect the final answer. The question will be set to accept a range of answers between say 23.35 – 23.75 for example.
