December Exam timetable

I’ve just seen the December exam timetable and I’m mortified that they’ve chosen to hold the exam sessions week commencing 2nd of December. I’ve done ACCA exams for the last 4 years as I completed their CAT before doing professional and I can’t recall it being at this time before(although it may have been).

Is it just that I now work for a backward company who still work on a traditional month end close? or is ACCA out of touch.

I know lots of companies have different period closes such as 13 periods etc but it can’t be just me. I’m going to complain to ACCA for all the good it will do.
