December 5, 2024 at 7:33 am #713901Yes I got 77700Adverse for mix variance and about 900K(I dont remember exact number) for Yield variance.
December 5, 2024 at 7:46 am #713902Hello, Did anyone do the question concerning price optimization ???
1/ price was equal 1050-2000Q , and MR=1050-4000Q ,but I am a little bit confused how can b=2000????
b is always between 0 and 1 interval
2/ In study text do we have an article concerning moving average calculation????
In time series I can not find anything concerning thisDecember 5, 2024 at 8:56 am #713908Yeah I think I got similar for yield variance. What answer did you get for that price optimization question?

Okay
1) The last mtq of pricing i chose the first was false regarding the cost plus pricing and target costing i chose the second option as correct the one with penetration pricing what did you choose?
2)iin the life cycle costing what was the answer for the breakeven mtq i chose they are not breaking even
3)the seasonal variation mtq ichose weekends and cold weather i forgot the correct options
4) the lifecycle mtq in which target costing was mentioned i kind of forgot the answer but i chose the last option
5)what was the lifecycle cost per unit
6)when they introduced the new product in lifecycle costing i chose maximise profit and minimse time to breakeven
7) The roi in option 1 in section c was more than 20 right?
8)both varinaces were adverse
9the joint cost mtq first was accept second was reject right
10)what was the answer for variance mcq in section 1December 5, 2024 at 3:50 pm #7139291) In case you remember the question, can you please say it, I kinda forgot?
2) I also chose not break even. But I’m not sure? What do you think?
3) I forgot for this one
4) & 5) unfortunately I don’t remember
6) I chose minimise time to breakeven. I forgot the second option. Do you remember the other options? I’m not sure I chose profit max.
7) it was but I messed up. I didn’t adjust for inflation. For the proposal 2, ROI was 6.67% and RI was -1.5?
8) No, one was fav.
9) / 10) I forgot the questions but maybe you can try saying it.
Also, for the ones I asked, what did you get please? Seasonal variation and director stuff
December 5, 2024 at 3:57 pm #713930**I meant depreciation

I accidently calculated SQSM in yield variance wrong and that part was 4 marks but i did the other calcultauions fine how many marks will i lose all four?
December 5, 2024 at 4:15 pm #713934I don’t think so that you’ll lose all marks. How did you do for the ROI/RI? What answers you got? Btw I think for the variation, it should be random variation right?

Yes it was random i confirmed with another friend
i added depreciation to the profit and as it said that labour costs were being reduced by 2.6 i aslo added that in tht eprofit
also i accidently put % sign with ri will i lose marks for that?December 5, 2024 at 4:24 pm #713939For the one in labour cost, there was no depreciation right? Because NBV was 15m and disposal was 15m? What did you get for second proposal

i couldn’t do the second one
December 5, 2024 at 5:47 pm #713945I also got they don’t break even in life cycle costing questions.
Chose random variation.
The life cycle cost per unit was something like 1600? not sure.
The joint cost section A, I got the opposite answer, first reject, second accept.
There was also a CVP section A question, which asked true or false. The question was whether FC is of this much amount. Do you guys remember?
I just remembered that the second proposal’s ROI doesn’t cross 20% like in Proposal 1, but RI was higher. Idk maybe I messed it up.December 5, 2024 at 5:51 pm #713946@Armine: In the study text do we have an article concerning moving average calculation????
In the time series I can not find anything concerning this.
There’s a similar question in Study Hub. I think the Study Hub one is even a bit more complex. But you can check that out there.December 5, 2024 at 5:53 pm #713948AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

life cycle cost was 1600? i got 16 sad
the percentage question in time series mtq i chose +24.7 what did you get?
yes the breakeven was false and fixed cost was right
do you remember the variance mcq in section 1?December 5, 2024 at 6:00 pm #713949I’m not sure about life cycle costing, don’t take my word for it.
I guessed the percentage question for the time series as well as the variance question. I believe I guessed option 1 for the variance question.December 5, 2024 at 6:03 pm #713950AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0
