Barely made it with a 53. Expected around 70 as well, so clearly no AAA for me…

    Hi Everybody,

Failed 30%. I was 100% sure I was going to fail , I started studying 4 weeks prior exam, hardly open the book , has not watched all the lectures. I have completed around 20 OTQs in revision kit. Never been so unprepared. AA module absolutely boring , I have 0 intererst at all .

Anyway , who passed the exam . Would you please share what was your study method , on which topic you put more effort ?What is important from this nonsense module?

    TIA .

    Have a lovely day!!!

Pass with 74%, consistency on revision is very important, ask the lecturer whenever you face any issue.

    Pass first attempt with 74%.
AA is actually my first ACCA exam as I got exemptions for all the others from my degree back in 2015.
So this is a really happy day for me.
Will attempt the next 4 strategic professional papers within 2 years.. pray for me !

Did you sit remote? I saw a comment similar to this for September sitting where they didn’t understand what they had done wrong. Might be worth asking about it. I have seen the platform has changed where if you look into your results on the ACCA website they now give a breakdown, might detail in that?
I really feel for you, very frustrating to not know!

Hi, Don’t think I am the best to comment as I have sat this four times but I self studied and learned through figuring out the exam. I prepared for this sitting in two weeks but I had covered the syllabus thrice over. I would suggest doing past papers for your next attempt, just make yourself sit them, doesn’t have to be timed at first, just work through them with your textbook. You learn so much about what the examiner wants by doing this. This exam is very exam technique focussed so would advise doing at least two timed papers before.
Learn the difference between internal audit vs external audit and how the internal auditor can help the externa auditor.
The exam is pretty similar each time so if you sit the past papers a couple of times you’ll realise the pattern. Usually an audit risk and response question in there. Learn this one well.

I passed with 65% on first attempt. Not very satisfied as I expected 80+ but I thank God for His grace. I don’t think I will opt for AAA when I get to professional level. Thank you Open Tuition for your help,I did self study with your lecture videos

Yes I appeared in remote invigilated exam. I have appealed them and they said they are investigating it further. They are saying my responses were similar with that of some other student. But it can’t be possible as it was remote invigilated exam. They are saying the outcome of the investigation will be on 22nd Feb, 2023

I failed twice with 40% and 44% but I decided not to give up. I pass this time with 61% even though time ran out before I could attempt the final 20 marks question. My advice to all the individuals that failed is to study the pass paper over and over and over. Reading the books won’t help. Practice the pass papers does. Please follow this strategy, resit March and give me an update.

Take the last shot in March. I failed twice, this was my third attempt and I pass with 61% even though I didn’t finish the paper ( time ran out on the last 20Marks question).

Just practice the pass papers n the practice paper!! Do it over and over again. Study the answers to get a grip of the strategy.

Update me April!!! You can never go wrong with this strategy l.
