Thanks, really appreciate that.
Would there be any real need to answer any parts in the spreadsheets at all or is all done in the Word Processor?
January 17, 2022 at 10:27 am #646630Passed at second attempt!
I owe all the credit to God of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob who helped me to conquer.
For those who failed, do not loss hope. keep moving on. you will finally pass.
Jesus is lord!January 17, 2022 at 10:41 am #646641Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Done with this exams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let’s gooooo boyssss!!!!!!!!!!!!January 17, 2022 at 10:44 am #646642I done my whole exam in the word processor and didn’t use the excel spreadsheet.
I think it would be very rare to have to use the excel spreadsheet although some questions would require use of it for some parts but in general most answers would be done on the word processor.
Thats what i found anyway

2nd Attempt 33 ridiculous examJanuary 17, 2022 at 6:24 pm #646787connormcdaid wrote:I done my whole exam in the word processor and didn’t use the excel spreadsheet.
You can have quite extensive use of Excel i.e. in “maximin” type of question, which happen from time to time, but generally true, there are many sittings you don’t touch Excel at all.
SBR and APM were definitely toughest exams for me. First, because of sheer volume of info in the paper, plus many standards to learn (and some that I never understood i.e. leaseback), second because I’ve honestly struggled to understand all requirements.
January 18, 2022 at 3:19 am #646830Praise the Lord Brother…..Well said all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ….I too passed on first attempt 52.

Can you please share your advice for students who are failing marginally ?
January 19, 2022 at 3:16 pm #647028Hi everyone,
I am just curios if anyone here has been at my place.
I failed the exam with 49% and I took the administrative revuew. The answer is that the results are correct and the feedback says ‘Pass’ at all the three questions.
How can it be that I pass all the three questions but the result is a Fail?January 19, 2022 at 7:41 pm #647054Passed with 58% in 3rd attempt (previous 2 were on the borderline).
Please do not give up!!! It is all possible with consistent work and good advise. To those who lost hope (I remember I was in the same position 3 months ago) I would recommend to try a different approach. Opentuition is really great for content, but you need to have someone who will look at your writing style and technique!
I have used APM tutor Mustafa Muchala from FME as recommended by other student, who checked and discussed my answers multiple times with honest feedback mostly on the exam technique which in this paper is critical. This way you can learn from your mistakes, as it is hard to know exactly what went wrong during real exam.
January 20, 2022 at 3:23 pm #647137@eda91, question 1 in usually 46marks with 4 marks as professional marks ( 46 +4=50 marks for question 1). I don’t know how ACCA marks but it might be that real marks per question is separated from the professional mark. Meaning you might have scored say 23/46 for the questions, and say 1/4 for Professional marks…which will mean you actually passed all the sections but scored poorly on Professional marks.
Well, it’s just my own opinion as I cannot think of any other reason why you will pass all the 3 sections and still fail.
(23+1+12.5+12.5=49)…..assuming.
Please do not give up, it can be hard but you will be happy at the end. Just retake the exam again.
January 20, 2022 at 3:27 pm #647138@eda91, I am assuming that u sad, AFM, APM, or SBR. since I know the first question in these exams are usually 50 marks, with 4 professional marks inclusive (most of the time).
My own options were AFM and APM…so I really do not know much about AAA & ATX. But I quess it’s the same for both papers too.
February 3, 2022 at 11:28 am #648045Hey Pranav96,can you please share your strategy to clear APM. Thanks in advance.
