RE: December 2014 – Question 3 – Maxwell Part A
Can you please help me how the examiner calculated the following figures below:
Total CO2 Emissions (Million Tonnes)
2.36
9.46
2.76
7.10
0.75
= 22.43.

Number of stations go from 4 4 8 2 2 to 3 3 7 3 3
So for the small coal stations (falling from 4 to3) the emissions will be 3.15 x 3/4 = 2.3625.
Similarly for other stations.
