Dear Gromit,
For Dec 2009 question 1,the number of students budgeted BEC is 6900 (3600+1500+1800)
, but y the suggested answer stated as 7200??
Besides, can you show me the calculation for BEC budgeted cost for catering and tuition materials??

6,900 is the budget, but 7,200 is the actual (3800+1400+2000).
Tuition materials: 648,000 = 720,000 x 7,200/8,000 (Flexed to actual number of students;see note 4 of question for the 8,000)
Catering: 92,000 = fixed 20% x 100,000 + variable 80% x 100,000 x 7,200/8000
