I got “get prepared for your March exams” even though I’m a finalist and hoping I passed my last exam in December. It doesn’t mean anything (as quite a few people have previously pointed out) but is a little insensitive from ACCA!

You can unsubscribe from these e-mails so not everyone will get them.

Yes – i agree no finalist should receive these especially next to acca results.
Was your last paper also ATX UK?

Hi. I’m a finalist and I took P4(AFM) in December. I received an email today, which is about preparing the March exam, but then I checked the links and E business and both of them work. based on comments of previous sitting, my conclusion is that the email is general, while the links and E business indicate pass or fail.

Any more mentions of ‘link theory’ will be deleted.

It is ridiculous and pointless to try and find ways of discovering your result in advance – it might be fun for some, but it is confusing for others who then think that this ‘link theory’ is something they are supposed to have learned for their exams.

(For the benefit of those who have not heard of ‘link theory’ it was a way that several years ago some people thought they could find their exam results in advance. It doesn’t work and is rubbish 🙂 )

If I can not view a checkbox is it highly likely that I have failed the examination? Do I still have any hope?

To relieve the stress and anxiety let change comment:
Can we share our Next agenda after qualified,
Type of Job or career we intend to go for and what we want to do with our membership …….or Anybody can suggest anything to talk about

I can expect ACCA and relevant text books pertaining to SBR will be aligned to new concept of q&a based on knowledge of IAS/IFRS… Presently the students only have practical examination kits with past practical papers and very limited scope to know the fair idea on standards… So also the presentations and articles provided by most of the renowned tutorials.

Dec18 paper should be an eye opener for all…. It is scaring for many!! . 🙂

    Great idea!!

I’m probably going to stay in my job for a while anyway – I’m here 5 years and working in audit. Maybe next year I will move jobs but for now I’m happy where I am.

Also, what’s everyone’s plans for the weekend to help keep their mind off things? I’m going to be doing some funiture shopping. And just hope Sunday passes very quickly! Always the one weekend I want to fly by!

OMG the december report for PM is out as well. Just reading it is making me so anxious. I am utterly confused as to how the result would be now.
Why can’t it be 14th already?

I am a bit bitter with the fact that why don’t we receive feedback as to how well or bad was the paper attempted. I personally feel it could be an eye-opener if we received at least some or little feedback, I know abundant amount of students give exams but still some sort of feedback should be provided or atleast we should be allowed to see the paper (CBE) attempted by us.
