A request to all the finalists awaiting their final results, i’d be thankful to you guys if you can check this thread from first page till last, so that you can see what kind of mess you have made of this thread. It was supposed to be a place where ALL those students awaiting their results, i repeat ALL those students, could relieve their stress by interacting with fellow students and discuss over not only their exams but other topics. It was supposed to be a healthy and stress-relieving discussion. Alas, you guys blocked all those attempts by keep posting the same nonsense we have been reading over a number of attempts and making this place a no-go area for non-finalists.
P.s. I regret starting this thread. I promise that when i will become a finalist, i will not act like this at all. I hope all non-finalists reading this post make a commitment too.
Praying for everyone to receive a pass come 14th.I kinda agree. When you started the thread I was one of the 1st to comment because I wanted to interact people at my level of exams. I just gave my first ACCA exam of F5/PM after starting from FIA, being a self-study student it becomes hard to find others to communicate with and I thought here I would be able to see how others share their thoughts and ideas regarding the paper attempt etc. I even tried to indulge a bit in between when the reports came but as many said the comments got lost. I also understand where the Finalists are coming from, being just one step away from affiliation and membership, honestly we would go crazy as well. I hope in future everyone can chip in a bit with everyone. Besides all of that I wish EVERYONE (students and to-be-affiliats) all the very best for your exams. Those who are still students, hopefully we can move forward together in this messy journey and make it out as victorious. 😀
January 12, 2019 at 7:45 pm #501118today got mail to attend webinar on how to become member.
it was stated in mail specifically that it has not to do with december results.
do you get that ?January 12, 2019 at 8:14 pm #501119Although this is first sitting being a finalist I always recall in previous exam results threads of many many people saying I’ve passed or failed and the theories were correct. I have never once seen a comment stating that the theory was wrong when they received there exam result.
Due to seeing all of these comments in the past sittings it had led to me attempting to see what mine says this time around. Unfortunately I have no tick box so based on previous threads have failed the exam and there is no evidence to suggest otherwise.
My only hope for us people not seeing tick box is that ACCA have changed things this sitting to not be as consistent so that people no longer rely on such theories anymore.
Good luck everyone regardless of the result we have come this far, never give up we will get there in the end.
January 12, 2019 at 9:44 pm #501124I am also waiting for the results of these two exams under same conditions. Really really worried about F7. I hope we all pass.

January 13, 2019 at 12:01 am #501136I know, but last time when I failed I only managed to write 68% of the exam I got 48%. Just could not stop writing the first question.. so hope I have done better this time.

Well done you got high marks for what you wrote last time. Plus there was a lot of marks available for business risk/romm this sitting. Good luck!
January 13, 2019 at 12:11 am #501138Thank you! Good luck to you too! I was doing AAA Irish variant, so there was no mark breakdown on the exam paper. It’s a bit harder to pass UK and Ireland variant. But still hoping for pass this time.

And those who are not finalists cant have an understanding of the situations finalists are having. As a finalist I must say that our stakes are very high.
Some are waiting for a promotion.
Some have studied very hard and want to get rid of the mental burden of ACCA.
Some are thinking about more time with family and kids.
Some are waiting for a life saving surgery and want to be mentally free from ACCA to have it.
So being a finalist isnt as easy as an F or P exam result awaiting student is. Please understand that after tomorrow this forum would end and everyone would go to their respective forum.
Spend time with happiness as we might never hear from each other again.
WOW!!!
so basically, you’re saying:
Non-finalists can’t understand your “complicated” situation as finalists because we don’t have anything at stake,
-we couldn’t possibly have career plans;
-we didn’t study hard at all
-we don’t need to spend any time with our kids and families
and waiting for any other exam result, beside the final one, is walk in the parkWith all due respect to the people who made it to the final exam, i understand that you want for all of this to be finally over and you wouldn’t want to go back studying for the same exam on Monday. But guess what – neither do we…
I am all about separate forums from now on… and hopefully at least in one of these new forums no one will make the moderator apologize for doing his/her job….

Iryna -wow i would find that very difficult indeed!
January 13, 2019 at 12:27 am #501141Being a third time finalist I feel your pain Chullbulla….however keep the faith anything is possible with God.
January 13, 2019 at 1:43 am #501142Do you get email from acca to attend webinar of how to be member today?
January 13, 2019 at 5:07 am #501145Let’s not fight each other… Let’s defeat ACCA together…?And yes its equally nerve wrecking for finalists ans non-finalists…..no one likes repeating paper… Peace??
Good luck to everyone…. ? 19 hours to go…..
January 13, 2019 at 5:40 am #501147Now we are just hours away from our results…
I am sure the past couple of days have been extremely stressful for everyone who are waiting for their results…
The only thing that was going in the mind must be…. “14th Monday RESULT DAY”I believe no matter how many of exams one has passed or no matter how many of these “Mondays – Result days” one has faced…The feeling remains the same…
The same Stress…anxiety…tension…excitement(may be!) every 3 months.
Whether your a student waiting to see the words “PASS” for your last paper or a student who is waiting for his/her first ACCA exam (CBE or PBE) result…The feeling is the same.
Each and every ACCA student has its own problem to worry about
Doesn’t matter whether you are a finalist or not (Remember, today’s finalist was once a non finalist)…“Which paper to give next?”
“Should I continue the same job or not?”
“Which role should I take up next?”
“Need to get objectives signed off…”
And it’s an endless list of worries.Though everyone will be having their own worries, there is surely one thing common…that no one wants to sit the same exam again! Everyone wants to pass the paper in the first attempt!
Whether it’s years of hard work of a finalist or months of hard work of a non-finalist…It all comes down to passing your exam.
We all want that pass, isn’t it?! (Everyone is struggling for it)All the best everyone!
