Hoping to pass P2 & P7 then I become a finalist at the next sitting with P4
Need to start back studying but I can’t with the anxiety of awaiting results

Yes, i also have a box talking about list of passed finalist.
I think ACCA has fixed the two theories; firstly, the link theory now redirect to a detailed info page which should be either error or grey/white page according to previous count down thread; secondly, my ebusiness only changed to @member for a short while and then back to @student till now.
Is it the same for everyone else?I would definitely like the results to be released on Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning instead of Monday. At least you could celebrate a little then.

I do agree with you on this as it only added panic when I awaited my final results & was never proven right.
Whilst I understand what you said in the F4 forum, this was rote knowledge that you were regurgitating, at the P level which I understand you are at now requires you to go beyond this & bring in your understanding of the wider world, after all this is where we all end up working in.
This was the point I was trying to explain to you, not that you were incorrect but as I was taught to ensure top marks to go that bit further in my answer by adding value.
I wish you the very best of luck with your results, I recall how nerve wracking it was for me but I remained optimistic throughout & thankfully passed all 14 papers first time.
Thanks – I do understand where you were coming from in that thread. As the following poster said, in a way we were both right.
CIMA students get results today I think which is Friday. For me, I think Saturday is a good day to publish results as that gives ACCA a full working week including Friday. If they publish on Friday they need to finalise on Thursday. One day less could be potential for errors on their end due to time pressure.

On my e-business page just appeared a ticking box saying “I would like my name to be included in the passed finalists list”.
Anyone else finalists get this message? Might be a new theory ?
I’m a finalist – when I click on the link, I get a grey and white page with my ACCA details on it. Not sure what it means. The E Business is not recognizing my Number/Passcode so I can’t comment and my MYACCA account has an ACC number on it now.
Not sure what that means. I really wasn’t sure after the exam how it went. I’m not too confident of a pass.

Mine has Acca number too, has it always had that or is it new on normal Acca page ? I have tick if you do not want to be included on affiliates list on e business. have to wait till Monday to see if it’s a new theory but I think it’s all been fixed, who knows though.
What do you guys mean by acca number? Is it different than the student number you used for login?
It’s clear all finalist can see the ticking box stuff. This invalidates all theories. Monday is close. I suggest results shld be released by Saturday and not Mondays.
Mine says students@acca and asks me if I want to be added to the list of passed finalists.

This is one of those worst testing moments of my life….when I wrote p7 and failed in September …waiting for results wasn’t such a concern to me coz I was just giving option papers a try…..now that I badly need to pass and get rid of Acca on my script ,am so much worried….I can’t think any more …wish I pass p7 n p5 ….it’s a turning point of my life …sacrificed much since Feb 2015….

This forum is stressing me out, I though I had done OK in the exam but the more I read about all these theories and changes to pages, the more I think I haven’t passed! I’m a finalist and really need to pass this final exam, as I’m sure we all do! I’m signing off of the forum and going to wait until Monday.

i recently completed my final exam and obviously, i’m pending results. I couldn’t help my self and i logged on to ebusiness and noticed that in welcome page, below “for information on examination results” it asks me to tick a box that says “I would like my name to be included from the passed finalists list.”Does anyone else in the same boat as me, waiting on final results and have this box appeared? or is it standard box that everyone has?

This is why I asked people to stop repeating these “theories”. There’s no way of truly knowing your results until it’s published by ACCA. Even if it works for a few people on this forum and nobody posts to say it doesn’t, that doesn’t mean it is accurate. It’s unfair to post these theories and cause anxiety to those who have passed or give false hope to those who have failed.
ACCA is a massive organisation with hundreds of thousands of students and members. Their IT systems will be very complex and rely on a lot of batch processing when they perform updates. Not everything will change for everyone at the same time, therefore different people will get different results at different times. Just because you are in the same country as someone else doesn’t mean you will get the same result.
Trying to guess whether you have passed based on links is foolish and asking for trouble.
Good luck to you @jax4671 and all others waiting to hear the results of their final exams, I know waiting for results is stressful but my advice is to wait until Monday morning when you will know for sure rather than trying to find out early.
